When we came to the cabin last week with Soren, we discovered that over the winter there had been a mouse infestation in our cabin.
Dan and Soren headed down to the hardware store to get mouse traps.
I spent hours scrubbing the counters, and cabinets, washing dishes and silverware, sweeping and vacuuming windowsills, rugs, and floors. The mice had even “slept “ in our bed, so I washed our bedding, towels, and even our clothes. My cleaning rags were littered with mouse poop, so I scrubbed everything mostly with the few paper towels that had escaped the mice. All the paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper that were not secured in a tight closet were torn to bits to make mouse nests. What a mess!!!
Dan is our mouse catcher….he has littered our home with dozens of traps and bait stations.
So far he has caught THREE mice!
And I think the mice have gotten the idea that our cabin is not their “Safe Places.”
Dan is now sealing up all the possible holes where the mice may be entering our cabin. He is slamming the door in their faces!
WE DON’T WANT YOU HERE!!!!
