Our good luck number is……13

We fell in love with each other on the 13th of May, and this year our 13th grandchild will be born.

We were just saying to each other, “Our littlest grandchild is almost six months old already!” Our grand babies are growing up.

Aryana and Easton sure do love each other.

Aryana is such an active coordinated child….she is a born gymnast!

Hannah modeled next winter's red sweater and hat that I knitted for her.  It’s a little big.  She may be able to wear it for two winters.

Mila is an amazingly creative artist….look at the hat and dress that she made for her and Owen’s little girl!

Hannah was zooming down the sidewalk on her tricycle a few days after her second birthday.

Aryana at 2-1/2 years old takes awfully good care of her little 6-month-old baby brother.  They like to play and laugh together too.

It is a blessing get to play and talk with our dear grandchildren even when we can’t be together.  And it’s also tons of fun!

Hannah enjoyed her very first Easter egg hunt….she’s awfully proud of the eggs that she found!

Isn’t Hannah adorable in the kitty robe that we gave to her for her birthday?  She looks just like a kitty cat with her face paint!

We were a little sad to think that all our baby grandchildren are growing up.  Our oldest grandchild, Ian, is no longer a grandchild—he is turning 18 this summer.  Will that make him our grandman?

A month ago Mila and Owen called to tell us that we will have a new little grand baby in October!

So I went to work and knitted a warm winter blanket for our 13th grandchild.  I have made a blanket for all of our grandchildren.

Hannah got to unwrap her new little sister/brother’s gift.  Here is Hannah happily snuggled up in the baby blanket.

Hannah was told that the blanket is not hers.  But she doesn’t care, and neither do we.  If she loves this blanket to death, that would make us happy, and I would have an excuse to make another baby blanket!

There will never be too many grandchildren for grandma and grandpa.  We love all 13 of our grandchildren so very much.
