Whoosh goes the air in our tire after a hike in Cowhole Mountain

Our first semi-disaster.  We had driven a rough road to a spot near Cowhole Mountain (it's real name--like who thinks of that as a name for a mountain?).

Had a terrific hike in landscape that reminded us some of Death Valley, but prettier.

When we got back to the camper, Vicky head a whooshing sound.  Wow!

We learned that our AAA coverage only extended 50 feet off of county maintained roads.  Wish we had known that before, but oh well.  It's part of what happens given what we do.  We had someone come and change the tire, and we will go into town tomorrow to purchase another spare.

And head back to Cowhole Mountain again to see what else we can find.  Hopefully not another ruined tire.

BALLOON UPDATE:  Yesterday we found one more Mylar balloon and today we found two.
