Tomorrow Emily is coming to visit us. Today we had three deliveries of all the essentials that are required for a good visit.
Actually the REAL essential for a good visit is the deep love and affection that Emily, Dan, and I all feel for each other.
Well, to be honest, the other essential for a three day visit is at least two pies from Village Inn. Emily requested that we get a German Chocolate and a Chocolate Silk pie. This has been a family tradition since Emily was a little girl and visited her Grandma and Grandpa in Leisure World.
I have another special treat planned for Emily. One night we will have Mom Graybill’s famous homemade noodles. I froze the leftovers noodles that I had made for Dan’s 75th birthday. Emily will get to celebrate her father’s monumental birthday with Mom’s noodles….and our Village Inn pies. Yummy!
Emily arrived….we are so happy!
