When we’re not dancing, hiking, or cycling…..

And when we’re not spending time with our children, grandchildren, and family….

We’re relaxing in the shade of our deck happily working on our projects—Dan making his intricate and unique model cars, and me knitting.

….a 1960’s Mack logging truck.

While on our hikes, we have been foraging for the perfect logs for Dan’s truck.  It has been fun.

Dan will next build the diorama and enclose the logging truck in a see-through case.  It will live in our loft at the cabin.  I can hardly wait to see his finished piece of art!

Here is Dan working on a 1928 Renault Vivastella.  He picked this car to honor our granddaughter, Stella Vita.  That is just like my Danny, so sweet.

Vivastella is beautiful, just like our granddaughter, the original Stella!

This spring and summer I have been knitting lap blankets—the perfect size for one to snuggle under.  Here are three that I just finished.

Can you find the three lap blankets in our cabin?

I have hung two of my blankets on the rail of the loft and another is on the back or the loveseat at our cabin….perfect for Dan and me to cuddle under!
