One hour of hiking, but quite a steep climb….336’ elevation in only 1.69 miles.
The answer is…foot problems.
Even after stopping to bandage a blister that had formed on a bunion, hiking was still painful. And our philosophy is always to stop, and let our body heal. We hike and cycle for fun, no other reason.
And we definitely want Dan’s foot to heal, so we can dance outside on our front deck to our beautiful, romantic music!
As we say, this hike isn’t going anywhere….we will return, and hike into the Verde Valley on another day.
