Vicky and I did a 30 mile bike ride today. It was cold, about 40 degrees when we left. But we were prepared, dressing in many layers.
We drove the camper to Asilomar Beach, and headed down the beach toward Monterey. We rode through Cannery Row, which was exciting for me, and then rode the Recreation Trail to Marina, CA.
What a GREAT RIDE! Almost all of it was on a bike trail. There were some light rolling hills, which was good for getting into shape. We stopped when we wanted to, took photos, and had a picnic. We'll probably do it again in a couple of months when we return.
