Kiss at the End of the Rainbow…..our third Cabinversary

Celebrating our third year of living and loving together at our dear cabin in the mountains.

The elk came by with their teenage children to wish us a Happy Cabinversary.

Thank you, Kathy, for the housewarming cabin glasses that you gave us three years ago.  Our Cabinversary is the perfect occasion for us to use them….filled with a vintage Chianti for my dear Danny.

Our Cabinversary dinner of delicious nachos….out on the front deck of our cabin—where we spend every afternoon relaxing, gazing up at Strawberry Mountain, and watching all the elk and coues deer passing through our yard as they live their lives, along with us, in our little town of Pine.

(Note, I’m having my milk in my special cabin glass.  Eat your heart out Danny, you had wine in your glass.)

Ripplin’ Waters by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band perfectly describes how we feel when we are living in our sweet cabin.  We were at our cabin the first time that ever we danced to this song.  And we have danced to it every year our Cabinversary.
