Grandpa is a born teacher. He taught for 30 years. He loved his job as a professor….and he was darn good at it! I know because I saw his course evaluations.
Now he is using his skills and having fun making lesson plans and teaching Hannah her writing and arithmetic.
Meanwhile, the boys are having fun playing with me, Grandma….
But as soon as Grandpa starts a chore, his little helpers are eagerly by his side….lifting, pulling, and pushing.
As Vernons says, “I’m the man of the house.” He takes this responsibility very seriously. In fact, he insists on saying the blessing before each family meal.
