Camping again...in the middle of nowhere on Sycamore Creek.
Tonight will mark 1179 nights in our camper since 2012. That's about 3 and 1/4 years in our camper. Unbelievable.
We estimate we spent $65000 on the pickup and camper. That would work out to about $55 dollars per night. But given that the rig is worth about $40,000 now, that would work out to about $21 per night. Hard to figure exactly because we've had 3 pickups and 2 campers, and repairs/upkeep. But however you figure it, it's cheap. It's less than a lot of people spend going out to eat, and we have, as the Replicant Roy says, in Blade Runner, "seen things you people wouldn't believe."
