Our day started our day with a walk (skate) to the Rendezvous Cafe for breakfast. Dan and I walked 1-1/2 miles, and Soren skated at least three miles in circles around us.
Soren worked out at the gym to keep in good shape for his track season.
We all went out for a bike ride. They rode Daisy, and I rode my bike. It’s hard work riding Daisy, but lots of fun!
Today we are headed up to our Cabin for a few days. Dan and I are VERY excited to see my Valentine’s Day gift—our lot behind the cabin. We get to put our feet on our land, see our new pine trees, and gaze at the view of the Mogollon Rim from the lot.
And hopefully there will be some elk greeting us and happily grazing on our grass.
Soren will help us start to clean up our lot. He helped Grandpa load the Rat (our 4Runner) yesterday, and he is eager to help do the hard work of getting the trash off our lot….what an amazing kid!
We’re not going to put him on the plane to fly home at the end of his Spring Break. We’re going to keep him. Sorry Emily and Sean…Soren’s a keeper.
