And send them weapons. And boycott Russian petroleum. And boycott Coca-Cola, Pepsico, and McDonalds who are still making profits in Russia.
As we safely sit in the sunshine on our patio in Mesa, it breaks our hearts to think of the soldiers, men, women, and children in Ukraine who are in the middle of a war that we believe should not have happened. It makes us sad to think of these families that are struggling to stay alive in the deep of winter, losing their homes, livelihoods, and lives. We sit here and can’t imagine what each day must seem like to all those caught in this senseless war.
Worst of all is that this war is killing people—people like us are having to bury their children, grandchildren, parents, family, and friends. Our hearts are heavy.
