Our daily exercise routine

In the summers our major focus is cycling.  During the winters it is traveling through our country, camping on our public lands, and hiking.

Because we are getting older, and because of health issues, we may have to make some alterations to that pattern.  That is one of the reasons we bought Nuestra Casa.  Right across the street from us begins a one hour, 3-mile walk around several ponds.  The completion of our walk is at a fully equipped gym and swimming pool.

Each day we walk an hour, ride exercise bikes 30 minutes, and swim (hard) for 30 minutes.  When we are done, we are a 10 minute walk from home.

When we return later this fall we will purchase a ping pong table.  Our only "spare" room in the house was converted (by us) into what we are calling an "activity" room.  This room is just right for a ping pong table and for us to do our ballroom dancing.

For the next several months we will need to be able to do a more gentle form of exercise than we have done in the past.  This home is a rehabilitation heaven.

We always wear matching shirts.  This morning at the gym a woman asked us if we were brother and sister.
