Back to Mesa to visit my mother

We had a very nice four days with my mother. She was always up for outings, so we did several.

One was to a place where many years ago my family would take hikes--Lost Dutchman State Park. We found it on the road to Tortilla Flat, a drive we also used to frequently take. Cost us $7 entrance fee--for a picnic! THAT's a change from the last time we were here.



One night Vicky made a meatloaf from my mother's recipe:



She is doing as well as can be expected, displaying a lot of strength and courage. I am very proud of my mother.
