Who meets the love of their life at a dance in a Grange Hall?

We did….at Deer Lagoon Grange on Whidbey Island.  We have had so many wonderful years since that night when we fell in love.

Every year on March 12th, I wear the same dress and sweater that I wore on that night—the night that a man I didn’t know asked me for a dance.  That man is now my Danny.

Each year on this special day in March, we hold each other close and dance to the same songs that we danced to the first night when we met….and we relive that magical night.

Every year March 12th becomes even more special day….the day that began our life together.
