Day after tomorrow...for eastern Arizona, near KOFA (a national wildlife area).
This is the primo time of year to be camping and hiking in the desert. Not too cold and not too hot.
We know this area, having hiked and camped here before. But this time, with the Rat (Toyota 4Runner) and Quail (off-road Teardrop) we will push further back into the wilderness than we could do before. We expect to be alone.....and we will be comfortable.
We do not expect to have any kind of cell signal for the five days we will be there. The world will pass us by. We won't miss it.
