The deserts are littered with them. They must travel an enormous number of miles. We saw so many that we started taking photos.
Although we hike a lot of miles, we cover only a minute fraction of the areas where we are. For every balloon we see there must be hundreds within a mile either way of where we are at any given time. There could be many hundreds of thousands of them in our parks and other natural areas.
We pick up all we see. Keep yours tied securely, and don't let it go for fun. It ends up where it doesn't belong. Thanks!
