We got to see our granddaughters one last time before we headed out on Roadtrip 3. They came to our home and were excited about their new cameras.
Marina and Stella took pictures of flowers, each other, and had me pose for a picture with a sunflower. They spent the afternoon taking dozens of pictures and as the afternoon wore on their photographs became better and better, until they were works of art.
Stella wanted Marina to take her picture next to the yellow flower that bears her name—the Stella de Oro Day Lily:
We just had to take a special picture of our darling grandchildren next to the flowers that they had planted in the pots on Grandpa’s bicycle.
