Candice is our new neighbor. Well, it seems like she is a neighbor since before a few days ago, the closest a member of our family lived over 1,400 miles away. But Candice now has a home in Tucson, only 92 miles from our home.
And we are stoked! This means that when she is at her home in the desert we will get to spend time with her and also see more of our granddaughters, Marina and Stella.
Here we are being greeted at her new home by Hank.
We spent a long, sunny afternoon together and got a tour of her home, gardens, and the vast desert where she can now run and play.
We talked and laughed for hours. Then we ate a delicious taco dinner on her back porch which overlooks the desert and the Catalina Mountains.
It was a lovely day!
